What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the awareness that emerges through paying attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgementally, to the unfolding of experience moment by moment
Jon Kabat-Zinn, Founder of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Mindfulness is a way of being fully present and awake appreciating every moment of life, whatever arises. Mindfulness can successfully tackle anxiety, stress, exhaustion and depression. By practicing and applying mindfulness each day, we can become more aware and accepting of our thoughts and feelings, and appreciate how we can choose to respond to them. It can help us to feel calm and provide an inner balance as we encounter each moment with awareness, contentment, enjoyment and happiness.
