Mindfulness is a way of being fully present and awake appreciating every moment of life, whatever arises. Mindfulness can successfully tackle anxiety, stress, exhaustion and depression. By practicing and applying mindfulness each day, we can become more aware and accepting of our thoughts and feelings, and appreciate how we can choose to respond to them. It can help us to feel calm and provide an inner balance as we encounter each moment with awareness, contentment, enjoyment and happiness.

Mindfulness Summer Taster Sessions 2019
Four Mindfulness-Based taster sessions for anyone interested in trying Mindfulness as a way to improve wellbeing and reduce stress and anxiety. These sessions are also perfect for anyone who has already done a Mindfulness course and wants to revitalise their practice. Each session has a different theme.
Wednesday evenings, 6.45 to 8.15pm at New Schoolrooms - Christ Church, Heol Isaf, Radyr, CF15 8DY - cost per session £12
Monday evenings, 7.15 to 8.45pm at Motor House Down Room, Insole Court, Fairwater Road, Llandaff CF5 2LN - cost per session £12.50
1 - An Introduction to Mindfulness - 22 May/Radyr and 10 June/Insole Court
TS1 is aimed at beginners with little or no experience in Mindfulness to find out what mindfulness is, the scientific, evidence-based research that it is based on, and learn some short mindfulness practices to reduce stress and anxiety.

2 - Exploring Mindfulness - Breath and Body - 12 June/Radyr and 17 June/Insole Court
TS2 examines the theory behind why we focus our attention on the breath and body in Mindfulness meditation and then we will put this into practice through guided meditation.

TS 3 focuses on deepening awareness of the breath and the body through guided mindful gentle movement.
