MBCT Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy


This course is intended for people who want to reduce stress, anxiety and depression. The main proven benefits of regular sessions of Mindfulness meditation are a decrease in anxiety, stress, depression, exhaustion and irritability. Regular meditators are happier and more content, while being far less likely to suffer from psychological distress.

MBCT was recommended by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) in 2004. In 2009, the recommendation was updated and given 'key priority' status.

The course is taught in a suitable and safe environment, in a group of no more than 14 people. The course consists of 8 weekly 2-hour sessions. You will be encouraged to do 30-40 minutes of daily home practice!!
