Mindfulness can boost the immune system, reduce stress, anxiety, insomnia, and it can improve psychological functions of attention, compassion and empathy.

Benefits of Mindfulness

Mindfulness helps people become more engaged in their work, more energised and less anxious, and they suffer from fewer symptoms of stress, according to the Mental Health Foundation. It increases activity in the brain that involve learning and memory processes and emotion regulation.

 What will I learn?

A one day training course will provide participants with a better understanding of what mindfulness is, its history and benefits as a practice for health and well-being.Some mindfulness practices will be taught and participants will also learn how mindfulness practices can be used in the workplace to improve communication skills and respond more skilfully to stress.

Course details

Clare can develop bespoke mindfulness training day courses for workplace settings or organisations can choose to train staff in the  Mindfulness - Based Stress Reduction 8-week  course for 2 hours per week with 40 minutes Home practice or the Mindfulness:  'Finding Peace in a Frantic World' 8 - week course for 75 minutes per week and 20 minutes Home Practice.
